A Landmark Among Latin America’s Tallest Towers

Visible from nearly every point in Monterrey, T.OP Tower (Torre Obispado) was conceived as a landmark development designed to maximize one of the city’s most prominent locations. Developed by Ancore Group and Nest, the project consists of two mixed-use towers that combine corporate offices, hospitality, retail, and residential spaces, establishing itself as one of the most ambitious real estate developments in Mexico.

Construction began in 2016 and was completed in 2020, resulting in a complex anchored by a 305-meter-tall, 64-story tower, recognized as the tallest skyscraper in Mexico and Latin America, alongside a second 153-meter, 32-story residential tower. From the earliest planning stages, the site’s visibility played a critical role in shaping the project, as the development was envisioned as a defining feature of Monterrey’s urban skyline.

As Esteban Ramos of Ancore Group explained, the goal was to take full advantage of a property that can be seen from both the northern and southern areas of the city. This vision drove the creation of a project with a strong architectural presence, designed to stand out on the Monterrey skyline while meeting the expectations of a world-class development.

Beyond its architectural impact, T.OP Tower incorporates sustainability and performance-driven design strategies that contributed to achieving LEED® Gold Certification, reflecting the project’s commitment to energy efficiency, environmental quality, and responsible large-scale development.
